Java Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to support the development and deployment of cloud-native systems. This role combines backend development expertise with practical knowledge in cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools. You’ll be part of an agile team, working on scalable, high-performance solutions using modern cloud technologies.

While much of the work can be done remotely, occasional on-site presence in Munich is required (1–2 days every 2 weeks, or one full week per month).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using Java
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Deploy applications in cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
• Leverage Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalability
• Collaborate in agile teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud deployments and backend performance

Requirements – Must Have

• Strong experience with Java development
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Jenkins
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Fluent in German (written and spoken)
• Experience working in Agile environments

Work Model

• Remote-friendly, with required presence in Munich office:
• Either 1–2 days every 2 weeks
• Or 1 full week per month
