Data Engineer

We’re currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our team in Latvia.

In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our data infrastructure - building and optimizing data flows, ensuring quality, and enabling insights that drive smart business decisions.

What will you do:

✅Take ownership of the data warehouse and data lake infrastructure, ensuring scalability and performance

✅ Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to optimize and support data flow processes

✅ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality and ingest processes

✅Participate in projects, day-to-day tasks, and issue resolution related to data pipelines and integrations

✅Provide support on product-related data topics to vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders

✅ Analyze raw data, improve data quality, and ensure the reliability and consistency of datasets

✅Maintain and improve data flow and system documentation

✅Explore new opportunities for data acquisition and integration

✅ Contribute to integration and transformation initiatives across systems

What we expect:

🎯Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role

🎯Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and processing

🎯Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS Athena, and S3

🎯Experience with or willingness to learn tools like AWS Lambda, Apache Airflow, and dbt (data build tool) is a plus

🎯Knowledge of modern data engineering and analytics tools, architectures, and best practices

🎯Ability to communicate technical and non-technical information clearly to diverse teams

🎯Strong command of business and technical English, both spoken and written

🎯Proactive, self-driven attitude and ability to work independently

🎯Willingness to dive into technical issues and lead internal and external teams to resolution

🎯Clear, structured communication style with attention to detail
