KR Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting this highly technical and leadership-oriented role for a well-established FinTech group based in Luxembourg.

In a fast-paced and regulated environment, you will contribute to the efficiency, stability and automation of production systems, while progressively taking on team leadership responsibilities (5 engineers). This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on infrastructure expertise with management growth potential.

🔍 Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the operational stability and ongoing optimisation of core production systems.
• Optimize reliability, performance, and time-to-market for key infrastructure and applications.
• Manage deployment pipelines and automate system-level tasks (CI/CD, scripting).
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems, ensuring high availability.
• Contribute to incident resolution and post-mortem analysis.
• Interact with internal clients and third-party providers.
• Progressively step into a leadership role, mentoring junior engineers and assisting in team coordination.

🛠️ Technical Environment

• Linux (RHEL) systems, shell scripting (Bash, Python).
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP), Security standards.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Nagios).
• Virtualization & orchestration (VMware, vRealize Automation).

👤 Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering roles.
• Excellent command of Linux environments and systems troubleshooting.
• Strong scripting and automation mindset.
• Previous exposure to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment tools.
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Fluent in English (working language); French or German is a plus.
• Proactive, structured, and collaborative mindset.
• Leadership potential or initial experience in coaching/mentoring is highly valued.
