HR Generalist
Our client are looking to recruit a HR Generalist for a long term contract. This is a diverse role that will cover the broad spectrum of HR. This role will join a tight knit team, with a lovely dynamic that go above and beyond to support each other and will report into the Senior HR Manager. It will be a hybrid role, with two days in the Dublin west office
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact to provide guidance and support on the main People & Organisation operational policies, processes and tools that impact the employee or manager. Manage a high volume of general operational queries from the business, responding and resolving promptly.
- Responsible for managing Learning & Development requests and requirements from the business areas in relation to internal and external training options both mandatory and non-mandatory to support an employee’s development.
- Provide support in administering Occupational Health & Safety requirements, engaging with employees and external providers as required.
- Provide support to the People & Organisation operations to action company recruitment processes in line with recruitment and selection best practices. Collaborate and liaise with hiring managers to deliver a successful outcome, providing advice and guidance as and when required.
- Contribute to the full life-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to screening, scheduling interviews and offering support to hiring managers through a range of sourcing techniques to build diverse talent pipelines and ensuring a superior candidate journey.
- Assisting with the preparation of the company onboarding process.
- Driving employee engagement strategies and initiatives that will foster sustained momentum and support our goal of being a global employer of choice.
- Supporting a performance management culture by actively contributing to performance management and development plan conversations.
- Involvement in ad hoc People & Organisation projects and change initiatives and any other related tasks and responsibilities as and when required.
Experience/Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience HR Generalist experience in a busy HR team.
- Degree or Professional qualification in HR, e.g. CIPD, or equivalent.
- Strong experience of HR processes including Recruitment, Learning & Development and Employee Engagement.
- Knowledge and experience in the area of employment law and application of same to mitigate risk.
- Previous experience in financial services industry would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in customer facing HR role with focus on delivery of service and professionalism to employees.
- Strong customer service skills & prioritisation skills with ability to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Remuneration Package
€45,000 - €50,000 plus benefits
