To ensure future competitiveness and return on investments we are expanding our Supply Chain and Logistics team with a new Project Manager.
In this role you will be part of a new department which is responsible to define and implement, the Supply Chain & Logistics strategy and processes. The department works cross-functional and with all product categories as sales organization of the Husqvarna Construction division.
Work Description
As a Project manager you will be responsible for implementing and driving supply chain & logistic programs based on the priorities and strategy agreed. You will coordinate and align work between multiple functions and teams. Among your task will be to create a understanding, engagement and the benefits of the program among internal functions and for some programs even cross-division to support the implementation success and change management.
Key work tasks
- Support end to end supply chain strategy development and implementations via programs that have as scope technical rollouts, process re-design and change management.
- Conduct assessments, gather input to firm up the priorities for implementation of the supply chain strategy.
- Ownership of projects and achieving targets and driving substantial improvement in Global Operations on time, on budget and in full
- Driving continuous improvement within Husqvarna Construction.
- Assess problem situations to identify and address root causes; gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
- Define program parameters with input from stakeholders, design and testing , finetuning (if applicable) and implementation
- Drive continuous improvement workshops and create the transparency and road map towards implementation in an international environment cross functional.
Location
This position is based in Jonsered, the Husqvarna Construction Head office Gothenburg area.
With our hybrid working environment, you’ll have the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely, promoting work-life balance for all team members. We meet in the office 3 days a week.

Who Are We Looking For

You have a holistic perspective and an analytical mind set, to fast understand how things are connected and know how to develop and implement the strategies effectively.
As this role includes many interactions you need to be good at building and maintaining relationships, have excellent communication skills and are able to adapt to different cultures. We also see that are comfortable in challenging peoples mindsets in order to meet set goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in PMO, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or equivalent
- 3-5 years’ work experience in project management or experience with implementing supply chain related programs.
- Good understanding of IT planning tolls
- Good understanding of statistics and with analytical skills and knowledge of Power BI and/or similar tools
- Good skills in Microsoft programs
- Experience working in a cross-functional complex organization with good results
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
