A growing cybersecurity team is seeking an experienced SOC Level 2 Analyst to enhance security monitoring, incident investigation, and threat detection capabilities. This role provides a solid opportunity to work with advanced security tools, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to protecting critical systems.

Role Overview:

The SOC L2 Analyst will monitor and analyze security alerts and logs from multiple security platforms, investigate incidents, and lead remediation efforts. They will configure, maintain, and implement security tools including SIEM, Network Detection & Response (NDR), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and Email Security systems. Staying informed about emerging threats and applying threat intelligence to strengthen detection and response capabilities is key. Documentation, reporting, and collaboration with security teams are essential aspects of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and investigate security alerts to identify anomalies or malicious activity
• Manage and configure security tools such as SIEM, NDR, Email Security, and EDR
• Implement and support new security technologies as needed
• Apply threat intelligence to enhance security detection and response
• Maintain detailed incident documentation and prepare regular reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with IT and security teams; provide guidance and mentorship to Level 1 analysts

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in a security analyst role focusing on incident response and security monitoring
• Practical experience with SIEM platforms, EDR, NDR, and other security tools
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cybersecurity threats
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiess
