Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer (Python) to support our banking client in Zurich through Wipro CH.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing critical applications and pipelines, ensuring operational stability, and contributing to compliance-driven automation efforts:

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite (Work from Office)

Duration: up to 12 months overall (but shorter initial contract)

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Client: Wipro CH – Banking Customer

Key Responsibilities:

Project: LAIA (Semantic Search Tool):

• Execute routine maintenance tasks to ensure operational reliability.
• Migrate existing Azure DevOps pipelines to GitLab.
• Decommission legacy virtual machines and deployment tools post-migration.

Project: Redact CID:

• Develop and support backend implementation to enable secure, automated redaction of sensitive information.
• Prepare documentation and conduct technical handover to internal teams.

Required Skills:

• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python
• Cloud: Experience with Azure services
• CI/CD: GitLab pipelines and Azure DevOps

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AI/ML projects
• Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Advanced understanding of Azure DevOps beyond basics
