About The Role

As a Software Engineer at ART, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of high-quality application solutions that deliver real value to our members. You’ll work with modern tools and technologies to build scalable, efficient, and maintainable software. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about continuous improvement and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver software solutions aligned with ART’s strategic goals and business needs.
• Analyse, document, and implement changes and unit tests based on change requests.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents, identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
• Assist in software configuration and platform-specific testing.
• Investigate system and service issues and support the implementation of preventative measures.
• Design, code, test, and document moderately complex programs and scripts.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems, tools, and processes.
• Ability to adapt and are committed to continuous learning.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and feasibility assessments across platforms.
  
  

We currently have two permanent roles and one 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.

About You

You are a skilled and detail-oriented software engineer with a strong foundation in modern development practices and cloud technologies. You enjoy solving complex problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality solutions. Your ability to work independently and contribute to team success makes you a valuable asset to any project.

Key Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# development.
• Knowledge of Appian and/or BizTalk would be favourable.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in software development tools and frameworks relevant to cloud environments.
• Experience with integration projects is desirable.
• Knowledge of relational databases management software/SQL.
• Experience with version control tools and automated build processes.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, release coordination, and QA processes.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and deliver outcomes in a team environment.
