Senior Full Stack Developer (React) - 1-Month Project

Our client, Reda Sullivan, is building a legal document generation platform to help everyday users respond to eviction, collection, and foreclosure complaints—without needing to hire a lawyer. The system automates legal document creation through guided questionnaires, internal legal review, and secure cloud delivery.

We are preparing for the release of the beta version and need an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to support the buildout of their MVP over a focused 4-week sprint (160+ hours).

About The Role

You'll take ownership of delivering key features across both the frontend and backend of our web application, working closely with our internal stakeholders and product manager. Your work will directly support legal self-representation for underserved users and contribute to launching a meaningful, user-friendly product.

Project Scope

Implement guided workflows for external users (defendants) to respond to complaints (eviction, collection, foreclosure)
Build secure account management (signup, login, password reset) for external and internal users
Develop dashboards for both user types, allowing document review, editing, and approval
Integrate with AWS (S3, RDS), Stripe for payments, and SMTP/SES for email communication
Ensure compliance with GDPR, TLS encryption, OWASP standards, and RBAC
Deliver a responsive web UI for desktop, mobile, and tablet

You Will:

Build and deploy frontend components using React
Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js (or similar)
Work with PostgreSQL or MySQL, ensuring scalable data models
Integrate with AWS (S3, RDS, CloudWatch) and third-party APIs (Stripe, SES)
Ensure robust document storage and dynamic template logic
Collaborate with our product manager on UI wireframes and backend workflows
Write clean, well-documented, modular code and implement best practices around security, compliance, and maintainability

Requirements

5+ years of professional full stack development experience
Strong expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web architectures
Backend experience with Node.js or similar (Python, Ruby, etc.)
Comfortable working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred)
Experience with AWS services: S3, RDS, CloudWatch
Previous work with Stripe integration, document generation, or form-heavy flows is a plus
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote setting
Excellent communication and documentation skills in English
