The role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Business Analyst to join our growing team. As a key partner to stakeholders across the Chef Success team, you will use data to drive decision-making, streamline operations, and uncover insights that guide our strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insight Generation
• Collect, clean, and analyze data from various internal systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, databases).
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decisions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend actionable solutions to operational or financial challenges.
• Strategic & Financial Modeling
• Build models to assess business performance, forecast growth, or evaluate new initiatives.
• Assist in budgeting and variance analysis, working with finance and business teams.
• Process Improvement
• Map existing workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Propose and implement process enhancements to increase scalability and reduce manual effort.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with stakeholders across departments (Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to gather requirements and align on key metrics.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for the data/engineering teams.
• Project Support
• Contribute to project planning and execution, ensuring delivery of data-driven recommendations on time.
• Support change management through analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, modeling).
• Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the food industry
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
