Payment Cards Technical Product Manager

Iute Group
Estonia · Full-time · Entry

Who We Are

Iute Group is a fast-growing fintech company founded in 2008 in Estonia and operating in Albania, Moldova, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria. We provide consumer finance, payments, banking, and insurance services with a mission to deliver an outstanding personal finance experience – powered by technology and elevated by the human touch.

About The Role

As Payment Cards Technical Product Manager at Iute, you will be at the intersection of technology, operations, and business strategy — taking full ownership of the technical setup and execution of our new card program. If you're passionate about building scalable and innovative financial products, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact across multiple markets.

You will play a central role in shaping the product architecture, driving system integrations, and coordinating third-party partnerships. Working alongside a high-impact, cross-functional team, you’ll lead the program from idea to launch, delivering a modern, customer-centric card experience for over one million Iute customers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Co-create and manage the Iute Payment Cards program: define the product roadmap, lead technical architecture, and ensure seamless internal and external integrations
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the card program in close collaboration with engineering, commercial, CX, operations, and general management teams
  • Oversee the technical execution of the card program, ensuring successful development, testing, and launch
  • Manage and support partnerships with card schemes, issuers, and third-party providers

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in card program management or card issuance within a mid- to large-sized financial institution
  • Strong technical knowledge of card scheme integrations, card payment processing systems, and lifecycle management from an issuer’s perspective
  • Track record in product ownership or product management, including requirement analysis, backlog management, and leading software development teams
  • Familiarity with payment card issuance models (such as principal issuance, BIN sponsorship, white-label solutions)
  • Understanding of compliance and security standards (including PCI DSS, 3DS) and modern trends like tokenization and personalization
  • Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of regional languages is a plus
  • A proactive and independent mindset, unafraid to take ownership and make decisions when it counts
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and commercial teams
  • Resourceful and data-driven approach to problem-solving and prioritization
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with multiple internal and external partners

What We Offer

Be part of a dynamic fintech that’s becoming a leading digital bank across Southeastern European countries. At Iute, you’ll help drive innovation and contribute to shaping core digital financial services used by more than a million people.

We support your personal and professional development through training, resources, and an environment where ideas are valued. You’ll work in a modern, flexible, and inclusive setup — with fair and transparent compensation, performance-based bonuses, additional vacation days, health or sports benefits, and support for life events.

Iute is a financially strong and profitable company with a clear long-term vision. As we continue expanding across markets and building human-centered digital banking services, you’ll be part of a fast-moving international team shaping the future of personal finance in Europe and beyond. Here, you won’t just build features — you’ll help deliver meaningful financial experiences that impact real people’s lives.

We believe that great people deserve meaningful work, fair rewards, and the freedom to shape how things are built.

Our hiring process

Our hiring process is fast and efficient - because we value both your time and ours. It starts with the initial short screening call to get to know you and your motivation. If there’s a good mutual fit, you’ll be invited to an interview with our Wallet Project Manager / Deputy CEO, where we’ll discuss your technical experience and product vision. The final stage is a meeting with the wider commercial team to align on strategy and cultural fit. We ensure timely and transparent communication throughout the hiring process.

Please note: This is a full-time, on-site role based at our headquarters in Tallinn, Estonia.
