Job Description
Danfoss Drives is looking for a System Engineer to join our software development team. The team works on motor and grid control products, including software-, control-, and PLC development & testing.

The position could be located at various places: Lappeenranta, Vaasa, Tampere or Helsinki, Finland.
Job Responsibilities

To succeed in this role, you should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Software-, Electric- or Automation engineering. You are interested in creating new things and eager to learn more about marine systems. Work experience in PLC design or/and software in the automation field is seen as an advantage.

Job Responsibilities
If you take the challenge as our System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing PLC programs for our marine related product family
- Cooperating with and supporting other Engineers with you
- Actively participating in planning and refinement of the team’s backlog
- Taking part in marine deliver projects and developing system environment towards customers’ expectations
To succeed in this role, you should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Software-, Electric- or Automation engineering. You are interested in creating new things and eager to learn more about marine systems. Work experience in PLC design or/and software in the automation field is seen as an advantage.
Furthermore, You Should Have Experience In
- Codesys (Beckhoff, B&R, Phoenix) etc.
- PLC environments
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a global organization.
- Strong team player abilities and a self-steering mindset.
- Ability to communicate in Finnish and English both verbally and in writing.
- PLC programming, Structured text, FBD, S7, (IEC PLC-languages)
- Motors & Drives knowledge
- Technical background in AC drives or related technologies.
