About the Role

One of our clients, a global financial institution, is seeking a Senior Crypto Engineer to join a greenfield initiative focused on building next-generation crypto and digital asset products. This is a unique opportunity to lead the architecture and development of secure, scalable blockchain solutions within a fast-moving, startup-style environment—without the instability of a startup.

As a senior engineer on this cross-functional team, you’ll design and implement blockchain-based systems that balance usability, security, and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver production-grade crypto solutions for real-world financial applications.

Tech Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in crypto/blockchain engineering, including decentralized applications, wallets, or smart contract systems.
• Proficient in languages such as TypeScript, Rust, Solidity, Go, or Python.
• Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, blockchain consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, DPoS), and cryptographic primitives.
• Experience with infrastructure-level blockchain development (e.g., protocol nodes, staking systems, Layer 2 solutions).
• Proven open-source contributions to blockchain or crypto-related projects (e.g., GitHub portfolio).

The role is hybrid based in Dublin.
