Back End :-Developer

Digital Transformation of modern organizations focuses on evolving legacy monolithic architectures into groups of cooperating microservices. This approach improves the scalability and availability of enterprise services and reduces time-to-market for new features.

For this reason, Atlas Reply Rome is looking for a Back-End Developer who can support the creation and maintenance of modern microservices, with a solid understanding of their functional aspects and the ability to use monitoring tools for troubleshooting and tuning.

You will work in an international team, using SAFe Agile methodologies.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Good knowledge of English (required to interact with the team)
• At least 2 years of experience

Technical Skills:

• Java Spring Boot and related libraries (Data, Security, Sleuth, StateMachine, Actuator, etc.)
• SQL relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• NoSQL document-based technologies (MongoDB, etc.)
• Scripting for task automation (Bash, Groovy, Python, etc.)
• Build tools (Maven/Gradle)
• Task scheduling
• Docker
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs
• Asynchronous messaging with Apache Kafka
• Git

Responsibilities:

• Develop new server-side features
• Test all written code before each release
• Create automated unit tests
• Write reusable code and libraries
• Enhance applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Bridge the gap between front-end clients and back-end services

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modern web development libraries (React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
• Distributed tracing
• Ability to read and develop new APIs based on Swagger/OpenAPI specifications
• Testing with WireMock stubs
• Ability to manage and set up DevOps pipelines (Jenkins/Helm)
