Our partner - Cembra Latvia SIA is a 100% owned subsidiary of Cembra Money Bank, a leading Swiss provider of financing solutions and services. The center is developing to provide technology and enabling services to the Cembra Money Bank Group and its subsidiaries located in Switzerland.

Cembra is currently expanding its Infrastructure Team and seeks an experienced, hands-on DevOps Engineer to join them. Cembra Latvia Infrastructure Team located in Riga, supporting the development and business expansion of CembraPay. CembraPay (www.CembraPay.ch) is leading BNPL digital payment provider in Switzerland, offering real-time factoring for merchants and instant credit solutions for consumers. CembraPay is currently carrying on with several major initiatives such as

 · Integration with the parent company

 · Extension and rebuild of the Core Business Platform

 

What exactly you will do here:

  • Responsible for the availability, latency, performance, efficiency, deployments,
  • monitoring, emergency response, lifecycle, and capacity planning of software services.
  • Responsible for providing L2 production support and for delivering change &
  • support requests and related activities.
  • Define availability targets, service level objectives, support budgets, rollback and fix.
  • forward strategies.
  • Responsible for liaising with vendors for third-party products and services.
  • Coordinate operation/support activities among the DevOps team.


 What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with 4+ years in IT.
  • Proven experience with public cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) practices.
  • Proficient with Windows and Linux operating systems, including scripting in PowerShell and Bash.
  • Strong background in managing, deploying, troubleshooting, and monitoring microservices within Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift preferred) and distributed applications in virtualized environments.
  • Experience with various CI/CD tools and pipelines, as well as automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with multiple stakeholders.
