We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liferay DXP Tech Lead to oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade digital experience solutions using the Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric digital platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Liferay DXP Tech Lead to oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade digital experience solutions using the Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering scalable, secure, and user-centric digital platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of Liferay DXP-based solutions.
- Architect and design scalable and maintainable Liferay portals and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, QA, and DevOps.
- Guide and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and security assessments.
- Manage technical risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest Liferay features, plugins, and industry trends.
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and tools.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in enterprise Java development.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Liferay DXP.
- Experience in latest Liferay version (7.4)
- Strong understanding of Liferay architecture, OSGi framework, and modular development.
- Proficiency in Java, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular).
- Experience with Liferay themes, portlets, hooks, and service builder.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Liferay Developer Certification would be nice to have
- Experience with either of the cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) would be a plus.
- Knowledge of headless CMS and Liferay’s decoupled architecture.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
