About The Role

At Forto, we are transforming global freight forwarding through technology, transparency, and efficiency. We are seeking a Product Analyst (f/m/d) to join our team and partner closely with product managers and engineers to drive data-informed product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Challenge product and business problems by asking sharp, data-driven questions and proposing impactful, transparent solution
• Generate insights that guide the direction of our product department and inform strategic decisions across the business
• Analyze user behavior using behavioral analytics tools (e.g., FullStory), uncover trends and patterns, and help identify new product opportunities
• Design, implement, and interpret success and impact measurement of product features to guide product development and evaluate outcomes
• Define, maintain, and report on product health metrics and OKRs, helping the business track progress and performance
• Own and enhance reporting and dashboards, making complex analyses digestible and actionable for stakeholders at all levels
• Support and develop the dbt semantic layer and contribute to our modern data stack, including BigQuery and our data warehouse
• Mentor a more junior analyst, helping them grow their skills and contribute to product
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Advanced SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with BigQuery and dbt
• Familiarity with user analytics tools such as FullStory, Heap, Hotjar, Amplitude, or Google Analytics
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills, capable of breaking down complex problems and turning data into action
• Solid understanding of A/B testing, product KPIs, and insight generation techniques
• Familiarity to predictive modeling, statistics, and data storytelling
• Experience in building visually compelling dashboards in Google Looker and presenting insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and set an analytics agenda aligned with business goals
  
  

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a strong plus, but not a must
