The opportunity

Looking for a performance-driven, focused and committed individual with a proven track record for the role of Engineer-Site Reliability for Presight.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the O&M of our products on daily basis.
• Be responsible for front-line customer management for any incident reported & take necessary actions.
• Ensure maximum uptime of our deployments and perform any required system update in the form of patches, hotfixes or upgrades.
• Be part of the escalation, issue triage and technical support processes & be a part of Incident management.
• Be assisting with prioritization of technical issues, escalations to engineering team, and coordinating resolutions with our clients.
• You are for monitoring, supporting, and administering production environment with initial onboarding, upgrades and recovery for bare metal & Cloud environments.
• You are detailed, designing and maintaining automation code for deployment and configuration of systems (Infrastructure & Application) and services.
• Follow production deployment procedures and design the best technical approach with network and security compliance.
• Follow production support processes to document day to day support activities, contribute to knowledge base.
• You transform ambiguity into clarity.
• You enjoy collaborating in a multicultural and diverse environment that expands to include various geographic locations by using cutting edge technologies.

Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management, and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans, and related risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of product administration experience in Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Debian & Ubuntu) based environment.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a Hadoop administrator with an Expert level knowledge of Cloud Operations.
• Must have prior Big data platform using automation tools like Ansible, Helm Charts.
• Must have knowledge of best practices for Data Warehousing including business intelligence, and business continuity planning.
• Hands-on experience with Monitoring platforms Zabbix, Grafana, Working with data delivery teams.
• Responsible for implementation and ongoing administration of applications in Air Gapped infrastructure.
• Competency in Linux administration (security, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting and monitoring) & Basic Networking troubleshooting.
• Private Cloud, Public Cloud & Hybrid Cloud
• Experience working in an Agile environment
