Vice President of Analytics

Position Overview

We are currently supporting a leading player in the hospitality and lifestyle sector in their

search for a Vice President, Insights & Analytics to lead and evolve their data and analytics

strategy. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end responsibility for data strategy,

governance, technical innovation, and business intelligence across the organisation. The

successful candidate will drive cross-functional alignment, oversee the execution of AI and

analytics initiatives, and provide key insights that directly impact profitability and operational

efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the company-wide Data, Analytics & AI strategy to support long-term business growth.
• Lead the execution of technical and strategic data initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Establish a strong data governance and quality framework through standardization and best practices.
• Manage and mentor a team of 10+ engineers, analysts, and architects, aligning tasks with strengths to boost delivery and performance.
• Oversee implementation of SOPs and compliance frameworks to reduce risk and
• improve design accuracy.
• Act as the product owner for data-related initiatives, ensuring cohesive prioritization across business units.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts related to data and technology functions, enhancing financial accuracy.
• Provide strategic insights and reporting to the executive team, aligning KPIs with profitability and efficiency goals.
• Drive hiring, onboarding, and performance management for the Insights & Analytics team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence leadership roles.
• Proven track record of developing and executing data strategies in complex, matrixed
• organizations.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data platforms, and AI-driven analytics.
• Experience managing and scaling multidisciplinary teams in a high-impact
• environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and
• translate data into strategic insight.
• Background in hospitality, retail, or consumer-focused industries is a plus but not
• essential.
