Cyber Security Engineer - 12 Months

Our client is looking to onboard a strong Cyber Security Engineer to join them on an initial 12-month contract.

The role is based in the canton of Grevenmacher in Luxembourg, and will require 3 days on-site work per week, with 2 days remote.

PROFILE:

• Experience (min. 5 years) in cybersecurity engineering activities
• Proven experience engineering of security risk management, security threats & incidents, security vulnerabilities, malware analysis
• Knowledge of security technologies, such as Antivirus, Network and Host Intrusion Detection, Web Proxy/Content Filtering, encryption technologies, Authentication technologies, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration and Automated Response (SOAR)
• Cyber-security engineering experience acquired in programs comprising a maximum of following infrastructure systems and activities: satellite control and/or communication, IT & Datacenters, 5G systems, OSS/BSS, User Terminals, terrestrial connectivity networks
• Sound knowledge of ISO 27000 Security standards
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Mandatory EU citizenship, preferably already holding or alternatively able to obtain an EU Security Clearance allowing the handling of EU classified information
• Willing to work at least 3 days in the office
