About The Product

Workday People Analytics is an AI fueled analytical platform for HR that helps to make better and faster people decisions. It delivers insights, highlighting areas of focus without lifting a finger. Workday People Analytics helps bridge that gap with pre-built analytics, giving you automated and targeted insights in easy-to-understand stories. It’s essentially your analyst in a box!

Among our differentiation in this space is our proprietary Storyteller technology which automatically surfaces the most relevant insights for your business in natural language, doing the heavy lifting for users by sifting through millions of combinations of data.

About The Role

• Daily contribute to backend of proprietary installation Platform delivering analytics applications to customers
• Implement new features into an orchestration service for managing workload of analytical engine
• Develop scalable backend service to manage frontend requests
• Identify, design and develop performance optimizations through Kotlin code and architecture changes
• Contribute to feature design and development across multiple teams including backend and frontend
• Maintain and support the product
  
  

About You

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years knowledge of Kotlin or Java and Spring framework
• Profound understanding of Object-Oriented programming
• Experience with code profiling and performance tuning
• Good understanding of Software Engineering Principles
• Experience working in TDD (test-driven development)
• Adapt and deliver on time, working in a fast-paced agile environment
  
  

Other Qualifications

• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with Docker
• Knowledge of Linux
• Passionate about code quality and encouraging peers to elevate their craft
• Takes ownership to drive projects to completion and overcome roadblocks with positivity and creativity
