MedTech Embedded Software Engineer (Python)

As a consultant, you will have to support our clients in the realization of their projects on site by bringing your expertise and your skills.

Your tasks:

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of software for our next-generation medical devices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, debugging, and testing embedded software in C/C++ for real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal applications.
• Designing and implementing robust, safety-critical software that meets medical device regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 62304).
• Utilizing Python for scripting, test automation, data analysis, and developing internal tools to enhance our development workflow.
• Performing software validation and test method validation to ensure the reliability and safety of the products.
• Writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation.

Your profile:

• Master's degree in Computer and/or Software Engineering, Automation, or related field
• Excellent Python skills
• At least 3 year's of experience in a MedTech environment/standards in embedded software
• Experience in embedded application design and implementation as a plus
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills together with drive, commitment, and team spirit
• Fluent in English, German is a strong plus
