Job Responsibilities

Engineer I (Platform Engineering)

• Key Responsibilities
• Implement well-scoped infrastructure tasks under guidance
• Build CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, or contribute to internal tools
• Write simple scripts, templates, or platform service components
• Execute platform playbooks and follow operational standards
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and on-call rotations (if applicable)
• Key Relationships
• Reports to: Senior Platform Engineer/Tech Lead
• Works closely with: Platform Engineers, Test Engineers, Software Engineers
• Mentored by: Senior Platform Engineers
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Exposure to scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and IaC (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and developer tooling
• Strong willingness to learn, take feedback, and follow standards
• Requisite Education and Experience
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 0–2 years in infrastructure or platform engineering environments
• Bonus: Certifications like Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner
