As part of Nortal’s growth strategy, we are strengthening our regional finance capabilities and are looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner (FBP). This evident role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, working closelywith the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to drive financial performance, ensure operational excellence, and support long-term growth.

You will collaborate closely with regional leadership and the CFO to translate financial data into actionable business insights, guide investment decisions, and optimize revenue, profitability, and cash flow. Acting as a bridge between finance and business operations, you will help shape strategic decisions with a clear, data-driven perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the annual baseline, budget, and target setting, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Define and prioritize key business indicators, ensuring the finance and analytics teams deliver a clear, one-view daily business dashboard that supports transparent decision-making .
  • Manage R12, snapshots, MBR preparation, and KPI normalization for cross-functional insights.
  • Assess and advise on customer business cases and investments, ensuring sound financial decisions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, proposing proactive solutions.
  • Oversee sales controlling, maintaining pipeline hygiene (opportunities & leads).
  • Drive financial performance management – revenue & REBIT maximization, cost optimization, and cash flow improvement.
  • Develop short- and long-term financial strategic plans to support business growth.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • 3+ years in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proven expertise in KPI definition, dashboards, and financial reviews.
  • Experience advising on business cases & investments.
  • Strong background in profitability & revenue optimization, cost control, and cash planning.
  • Experience in growth-stage or scale-up companies is a plus.

  • Analytical, pragmatic, and proactive problem solver.
  • Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Good stakeholder management and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
