Mobile Application Developer

The mission of the mobile developer position at HackMotion is to build a world-class mobile application for wearable products that can process and display complex measurement data in a user-friendly way for sports applications.

You will join our product team and work on the app for HackMotion wearable hardware products. The work will be truly engaging and fun, and you will be able to learn a lot.

We do everything in-house: from the embedded software of our wearable hardware to cloud solutions with Firebase. We build and maintain iOS and Android applications with a single code base on Flutter. Our mobile app has many unique and interactive elements with our hardware - real-time animations, sound and vibration signals, sensor data processing, etc. - this makes the work both challenging and extremely fun.

You'll take a key role in our mobile development team, focusing on building world-class UI and Human-Computer Interactions helping our customers get the most value out of their HackMotion product.

You will closely collaborate with the whole product team, providing input on proposed designs and contributing to the app architecture. Your success will be defined by our team's ability to ship more and higher quality features and updates, that can measurably improve our user experience.

Your tasks:

1. Implement features for HackMotion iOS and Android apps by using cross-platform development technology (Flutter);
2. Own your part of the backlog, delivering high-quality features on a sprint basis;
3. Together with other developers contribute to solving architectural challenges and minimise technical debt;
4. Participate in feature planning bringing your tech expertise (e.g. design sprints).

What we expect:

1. Experience in Flutter cross-platform technology (or the ability to learn it fast);
2. Experience in building responsive UI components (professional or hobby projects);
3. Basic knowledge of the Git version control system;
4. Basic knowledge of databases (either SQL or NoSQL);
5. Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and structure;
6. Great English communication skills (both verbally and in written form)

7. Salary 2520 – 4356 EUR before taxes, depending on the skills and experience.
