We are looking for a colleague who would join our experienced team of renewables professionals as BESS Project Development Manager and will play a pivotal role in Battery Energy Storage System project coordination, financial modelling, compliance with legal regulatory framework and technical feasibility of specific projects. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Leading and managing battery energy storage projects portfolio (greenfield development, acquisition, implementation)
• Building, developing, and growing any business relationships vital to the success of the project
• Supervising economical, legal, technical feasibility of BESS projects
• Cooperating with central business development, project finance and modelling units to valuate BESS projects
• Following technological progress on global BESS market
• Supporting project financing activities on BESS projects before and after commercial operation date (COD)
• Recommending opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
• Developing best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  
  
  

Required for this position:

• Hold a degree in the Engineering or Energy field
• Have project management experience within renewable energy projects, real estate or other major infrastructure projects, as well as being able to manage development partners
• Have general understanding of financial modeling
• Have experience in wind and/or solar PV projects development and/or construction (advantage), along with the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Can work effectively to meet critical deadlines
• Are an analytical, well-structured, results oriented, pro-active person, with flexibility and ability to adapt quickly as well as work in corporate culture
• Proficiency in both Latvian and English (oral and written), essential for regular communication with international colleagues and partners.

Salary range for this position group: is 2724 to 4086 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
