If wireless networking excites you, your next career step might be right here.
8devices is among Europe's leading wireless networking research and development centers. We are an authorized Qualcomm design partner and now we are looking for a programmer to join our Embedded Linux team and grow with us.
Your Role
- Take an active part in designing, developing, and testing Embedded Linux-based devices and solutions for both business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) markets.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and testers to create practical, market-ready products.
- Develop software that works close to the hardware — from bare-metal to low-level C/Linux kernel programming.
- Integrate with a variety of hardware components: sensors, wireless ICs, processors, and SoC solutions.
- Explore advanced wireless technologies — Wi-Fi, mmWave, Bluetooth, LTE/5G — putting them to the test, evaluating performance, and fine-tuning them for real-world use.
- Develop software for unmanned systems/drones communication modules, participate in field tests.
What You Bring

- Practical coding skills in C, Lua, and Python.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux OS.
- Enjoy working close to hardware — familiarity with PCBAs and the ability to read schematics is a plus.
- Curiosity about IoT and network technologies (TCP/IP and other protocols are a plus).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
What we offer
- A role in a unique company — we are one of the leading experts in our field in Europe.
- 5 additional vacation days per year.
- Supplementary health insurance.
- The opportunity to participate in a third-pillar pension scheme.
- Professional growth and development opportunities within the company.
