Senior Product Owner – Assistant Director – Regulatory Reporting Solutions

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner/Manager to lead our regulatory reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

• Direct and mentor a team of Business Analysts.
• Foster a culture of innovation and agility in adapting to regulatory changes.
  
  

Regulatory Expertise:

• Deploy comprehensive knowledge of regulations including MiFID/PRIIP, SFDR, AIFMD, Banking, and Insurance reporting.
• Guide the evolution of our reporting solutions to ensure compliance and competitive edge.
  
  

Industry Networking:

• Utilize your network within the asset management industry, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
• Gain early insights into regulatory shifts and trends.
  
  

Research & Strategy:

• Proactively research and digest regulatory updates and new frameworks.
• Transform these insights into strategic direction for product development and enhancements.
  
  

Technical Knowledge:

• Leverage technical skills, particularly in SQL, to analyze and manage data effectively.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure product solutions are robust and scalable.
  
  

Product Development Leadership:

• Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and market needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and marketing to deliver high-quality products.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner/Manager, specifically in regulatory reporting within the financial services sector.
• Extensive knowledge of MiFID/PRIIP, SFDR, AIFMD, Banking, Asset Management, and Insurance domain exposure
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory frameworks and translate them into business requirements.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to drive innovation and adapt quickly to regulatory changes.
• Technical knowledge, especially in SQL, is a significant advantage.
• Robust network within the asset management industry and regulatory bodies.
• Demonstrated ability to gain and leverage early insights into regulatory changes.
