After having successfully closed our first investment, we are looking for a talented Computer Vision Intern to join, grow with our team, and build the future of Mavisoft together.

About the Role:

As a Computer Vision Intern, you’ll work closely with our AI team to develop, test, and improve advanced computer vision models. You will gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art techniques such as object detection, semantic segmentation, OCR, pose estimation, and more. From experimentation to deployment, you’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of model development on real datasets from industrial assets.

This internship is ideal for someone looking to grow quickly, contribute to meaningful projects, and explore the intersection of AI, deep learning, and industry-scale challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Design, train, and evaluate computer vision models for real-world applications.
• Work with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Preprocess image datasets, validate annotations and augment data for model training.
• Optimize model performance and assist in deploying inference pipelines.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers and product managers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of fundamental concepts in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with an emphasis on computer vision.
• Strong Python skills, particularly in the context of AI and computer vision.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Familiarity with NumPy, OpenCV, and standard image processing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for building practical AI solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of AI and computer vision.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with OCR, pose estimation, or 3D vision tasks.
• Familiarity with Docker for containerizing experiments and models.
• Knowledge of model deployment practices.
• Interest in GIS or working with geo-referenced data.
