Role Overview

We are looking for a backend developer responsible for building microservices in golang. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end

services and API’s. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these services, and to coordinate with the rest of the team

working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product

quality is essential.

What You Will Do

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable go code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the services
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
  
  

Who You Are

• Proficient in Go
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Skill for writing reusable go modules
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in go
• Experience with AWS, Redis, SQL and ElasticSearch is a plus
• Knack for writing clean, readable go code
• Experience with both external and embedded databases
• Strong understanding of HTTP and API design principles, including REST and GraphQL
• Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• While this is primarily a backend role, experience with Angular (or similar frontend technologies) is considered a strong plus.
