💼 Role Overview


As our HR Generalist, you'll play a central role in developing and executing people processes that support our growth. You’ll be the go-to person for employees and managers across a range of HR topics – from onboarding and performance to compliance and culture. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that requires autonomy, empathy, and attention to detail.


🛠 Key Responsibilities


  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and employee records.
  • People Operations: Maintain and improve HR systems, policies, and processes; ensure data accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Culture & Engagement: Support initiatives that foster engagement, feedback, and a strong company culture.
  • Performance & Development: Assist with performance review cycles, learning & development programs, and career pathing.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate with external providers on payroll, benefits administration, and employee queries.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices are aligned with Portuguese labor law and support international expansion as needed.
  • HR Projects: Contribute to strategic initiatives such as DE&I, talent development, compensation benchmarking, and employer branding.


✅ What We’re Looking For


  • 2–5 years of experience in HR, ideally in a fast-paced tech or SaaS company.
  • Solid understanding of Portuguese labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g. Personio, BambooHR, HiBob).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – approachable, empathetic, and trustworthy.
  • Highly organized and process-oriented; able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change; you’re proactive and solution-oriented.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.
