SayNode, a young blockchain startup from Burgdorf (Switzerland) with a branch in Lisbon, develops various blockchain products in the fields of education, MedTech, NFT, and HRTech for clients from different industries. Our particular strength lies in the agile integration of blockchain into mobile applications but we also develop other components: from websites to apps to complex IT projects, we implement almost all types of projects.

We are currently seeking a Junior Backend Developer, 100%, to join our team in Lisbon.

What We’re Looking For:

You’ve probably already spent a fair amount of time with Django & Python or something equally impressive. You’re comfortable on the backend and you know how to make things work seamlessly. You’re always looking to learn, grow, and bring fresh ideas to the table and of course, you're not afraid of the occasional bug.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain our backend applications.
• Collaborate with our amazing team of designers, developers, and coffee enthusiasts to create new features.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and occasionally crack a good joke (we're a fun bunch, after all).
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and tools - we promise we’ll try to keep up too.

What We Expect From You:

• Experience with python, django, docker
• Knowledge in typescript, nextjs, aws and firebase is a plus
• A strong understanding of backend development.
• Problem-solving skills that make you the hero of every project.
• A sense of humor 
• A passion for writing clean, scalable code that makes our CTO smile.
