We are looking for a team member to our Securities Services Operations Turkey team within CB & IB Operations. As a Clearing and Settlement Officer, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end clearing and settlement processes within Custody team to ensure smooth and timely market settlement of securities and TRY cash transfers of our clients with close communication with our clients and other counterparties and some asset services/ corporate action items that will be assigned.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and settlement of clients’ securities instructions in MKK, Takasbank and relevant systems
• EFT Cash liquidity management for TRY and other currencies via Central Bank of Turkey and Swift systems
• Handling of payment and securities related inquiries with clients and other stakeholders
• Preparation of invoices for clients and fee collection
• Communication with clients and local banks/financial institutions/broker dealers for settlement; cash and CA related issues
• Timely preparation of client reports
• Participating in User Acceptance Tests when there is a change / improvement in systems.
• Support all other multiple tasks requested by Branch Operation teams
  
  
  

Your Skills and Experience:

• University Bachelor’s degree level
• Experience in banking or in other financial institutions is a plus.
• Competent in MS Office programs.
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with internal & external clients and all stakeholders.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Good command of Turkish & English, both spoken and written.
• CMB Certificate (SPK Düzey 1-3) would be preferred.
