Strategic Data Analyst

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITES

• Develop and maintain performance tracking dashboards to provide real-time insights on key business metrics, performance indicators, and trends. Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights via Python.
• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize business trends.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Implement data modeling techniques to ensure efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
• Identify trends and anomalies in data to support business forecasting and strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop an in-depth analytical understanding of what drives growth for the product and how it can be improved.
• Use metrics and analytics to measure the success of the data product and make improvements as needed.
• Producing scenario analyses, trend forecasts and forecasts for strategic decisions.
• Contributing to data-driven process improvement and digital transformation projects.

QUALITIES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering.
• Preferably 2 years of experience in financial data analysis, business intelligence or similar fields.
• Coding skills – ability to code in one or more languages (SQL, Python)
• Communication Skills - Excited to work with different functions within company, creative problem solver who thrives with ambiguity.
• Familiar with digital analytics visualisation tools (Power BI dashboards etc.)
• Ability to make data-driven presentations to executives and develop strategic recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills and experience of working with large volumes of data.
• Enjoys the challenge of simplifying complex data, processes, and concepts to highlight key insights and guide decision making.
• A genuine interest in digital disciplines and stay up to date on trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
