We’re looking for a talented and detail-oriented Product Designer with deep expertise in design systems to join our growing team. You’ll play a key role in shaping and scaling our core design system across products that impact thousands of users globally.

What You’ll Do

• Design System Leadership: Build and maintain Rapyd’s design system by improving existing components and creating new ones for inclusion in core and product‑specific libraries.
• Ensure design system consistency across all Rapyd products: Client Portal, Back Office, and Mobile Apps (iOS and Android) – by maintaining up-to-date guidelines
• Collaborate across teams with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to seamlessly embed the design system into the development workflow, aligning with product goals and user expectations.
• User-Centered Design: Utilize user research, usability testing, and data analysis to guide and validate design decisions, ensuring solutions effectively address user needs and improve experience.
• Driving Design Innovation: Promote the adoption of design system expertise and AI tools, championing best practices to continuously elevate design quality.
• Adaptability Across Design Domains: While leading and evolving the Design System, remain flexible to contribute to broader product design projects as priorities shift—applying your expertise in UI/UX design, prototyping, and user research to deliver high-impact solutions across Rapyd’s products.
  
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3–5 years in product design, with a proven portfolio showcasing expertise in building and managing design systems alongside delivering user-centered design solutions.
• Design: Proficient in Figma, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining component libraries and design systems.
• Data: Hands-on experience with research, usability testing, interviews, and product data analysis—using insights to guide design decisions and continuously enhance user outcomes.
• Communication: Strong collaboration and presentation skills, with the ability to champion design system best practices and clearly communicate design decisions across teams.
• AI: Practical experience using AI tools for research, ideation, and design, demonstrating the ability to seamlessly integrate AI into the design workflow.
• Mobile: Experience designing iOS and Android app components within a design system, ensuring platform-specific consistency and seamless user experience.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset for identifying challenges and delivering innovative, user-focused solutions.
• Experience creating micro-animations and interaction patterns – Big advantage.
