Our Database As A Service (DBaaS) team at Shopee’s Infrastructure Division is focused on building a scalable and reliable distributed database management platform to support our global e-commerce operations. We develop intelligent solutions for database governance, design cutting-edge cloud-native database services, and explore the deep integration of AI into database operations. Through these efforts, we aim to drive greater automation, stability, and efficiency across our systems, empowering the continued growth of Shopee’s business worldwide.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain high-performance, large-scale backend services of database product
• Collaborate with the DBA and other infra teams to provide technical solution for database product ecosystem
• Execute and implement technical designs
• Troubleshoot online related to business logic or performance
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
• Familiar with at least one backend programming language such as Golang,Java or Python
• Strong in logical thinking and problem solving skills, actively seeking challenges
• Strong ownership, good communication skills, having teamwork spirit and capable of working independently under pressure
• Passionate about coding and programming, innovation, and solving challenging problems
• In-depth understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures and algorithms, operating systems, networks, databases, etc)

• Hands-on experience with Golang
