Android Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing engineering technology company in the Arlington, TX area, is seeking a Mobile Android Developer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance mobile applications using React Native specifically for Android Devices
• Build and maintain native mobile features in Swift, Objective-C (iOS) and Kotlin, Java (Android)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement features that deliver exceptional user experiences
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and reliability
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Continuously research and recommend new mobile tools, technologies, and best practices
• Debug and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks across platforms
• Java/Kotlin currently being used
  
  

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in mobile app development
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native for Android or similar framework
• Proven experience with native Android development (Kotlin, Java)
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
• Experience working with version control tools like Git
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processes (App Store/Google Play)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  
  

Nice To Haves But Not Required

• Experience with TypeScript in React Native
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Redux, or MobX
• Familiarity with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and A/B testing tools
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
