Web User Interface Designer

Position: Website UI Designer (Shopify/E-commerce focus)

Hours: 15 hours/week to start (EST), and transition to full-time if the talent performs well

Company: Our client is a fast-growing website and landing page design company specializing in high-converting e-commerce solutions. Most of their clients are e-commerce who sell products on Shopify. They partner with Shopify brands to create engaging, revenue-driving online experiences.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a skilled UI/UX designer proficient in Figma to design responsive Shopify e-commerce websites and landing pages, focusing on key features like subscriptions, bundling, and upsells. Start at 15 hours/week, with full-time potential for top performers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design Shopify websites and landing pages in Figma, including:

• Homepage: Brand-aligned, conversion-optimized, responsive layouts.
• Subscription Sign-Up Page: Intuitive forms with strong CTAs.
• Product Bundling Feature: Dynamic UI to increase order value.
• Free Gift with Purchase Upsell: Engaging pop-ups or checkout integrations.
• Product Pages: Detailed layouts with reviews, cross-sells, and variant selectors.
• Cart/Checkout Pages: Streamlined designs with trust signals and discount fields.
• Promotional Pop-Ups: Exit-intent or newsletter sign-ups to boost engagement.

1. Deliver mobile-optimized, pixel-perfect designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
2. Collaborate in Figma for real-time iterations with our team.
3. Align designs with Shopify’s ecosystem (e.g., collections, checkout flows).
4. Optionally, support design-to-development handoff (e.g., Figma to Shopify plugin).

Requirements

• 3+ years designing Shopify e-commerce websites/landing pages in Figma.
• Portfolio with 2–3 full Shopify sites, showcasing homepage, subscriptions, bundling, upsells, product pages, and pop-ups.
• Expert Figma skills (prototyping, components, collaboration).
• Knowledge of Shopify’s structure and tools (e.g., Instant Page Builder).
• Strong communication for remote collaboration.
