Title And Summary

Manager, Physical Security

Reporting to Director of Corporate Security over Executive Protection/Event Security.

Overview

This position will support Executive Protection, Event Security and Sponsorship Events globally. Will be responsible for providing a safe/secure environment for Mastercard Executives, employees and guest during largescale meetings and events. Abide by Mastercard protocols related to Executive Protection and Event Security.

Role

As the Manager, Physical Security supporting Executive Protection, Event Security and Sponsorship Events globally, you will be required to complete specialized tasks related to the performance of your duties to include, but not limited to:

Conduct risk assessments of known venues and proposed locations of travel

Mitigate perceived threats with available resources

Coordinate security planning with multiple stakeholders to include Executives, Executive Assistants, other protection team members

Conduct Site Advances to ensure awareness of venue emergency action procedures, minimize risk and limit exposure to potential threats

Prepare thorough logistics which account for Executive travel schedule, security team staff and support assets

Responsible for liaising with venue security team members to leverage pre-existing security infrastructure

Responsible for safeguarding highly sensitive and confidential information

Possess basic emergency medical training (CPR, AED, wound management)

Remain available to travel on short notice to ensure constant security coverage

Provide effective levels of security while operating in both overt and covert modes

Coordinate multi-day/multi-stop trips to include travel security and vehicle/asset management

Communicate effectively with Executives, Corporate Security Leaders and security team members

Maintain fiscal responsibility

Expected travel is 25-50%

Experience

Military / Law Enforcement background

Experience with Executive Protection (government or private sector)

Experience coordinating security plans with military and/or law enforcement

Prior security training

Travel and logistics experience

Communication Skills (oral And Written) With Experience Briefing Protectees/Executives

EMS (BLS or ALS) training
