What To Expect Day To Day

We are looking for talented Full-stack JavaScript developers to join our team and work on embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment in electrical networks (IoT).

As a JavaScript developer, you'll be using Node.js to develop microservices on our embedded Linux platform and/or cloud platform. On the front end, creating webapps in React.js to communicate with these back-end services using a REST API.

You can expect to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge solutions. You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and tools and you'll be encouraged to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the industry, and to share your knowledge and ideas with the team.

Responsibilities

• Development of JavaScript microservices (back-end services in Node.js and/or web applications in React.js)
• Debugging in an embedded Linux environment
• Development of automated unit and component tests
• Maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
• Working with QA engineers to investigate and address issues
• Participation in Agile Scrum and design meetings

Essential Criteria

• Experience with back-end application development with Node.js
• Familiarity with Linux environment
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Passionate about technology and engineering
  
  

DESIRED CRITERIA

• A degree in software engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience with web application development using React.js
• Experience using test frameworks like Cucumber.js and Mocha
• Exposure to embedded software development
• Basic knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Basic understanding of networks
• Experience of working in Agile/SCRUM environment
• C++ experience is a plus
