Our headquarters is located in the iconic Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam, where we have various teams, including our support teams, development teams, and project management team. This is also where we prepare and test our solutions.

About the Position

Within our international Project Management team, we are currently looking for a Project Manager IT & A/V to join our ranks.

Who You Are

Managing multiple IT & A/V projects within scope, budget, and time is something you thrive on. You achieve this by combining strong stakeholder management with excellent project management skills.

At the start of a project, you will assemble your project team, which consists of various external and internal stakeholders. Think of owner representatives or yard project managers as external stakeholders and the IT teams, A/V teams, and Finance team as internal stakeholders.

You will manage all relevant stakeholders throughout the project to ensure delivery on time and within budget, always striving to exceed expectations and provide a seven-star experience.

Qualifications

• You enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously. Larger projects take 3-4 years, while smaller projects take 3-9 months.
• You have experience with formal project management tools. We use the IPMA-C framework, customized for our industry.
• In our field, seven-star service means that even the best-laid plans can change. You know how to adapt to these changes while respecting all stakeholders’ interests.

Additionally:

• You have several years of experience managing full-cycle IT (infrastructure) projects, preferably with A/V components. If you don’t have A/V experience, you should at least have a strong affinity with our industry. We have a proven track record of guiding new colleagues in this field—you bring the right attitude, and we will help you succeed.
• Since our projects are delivered worldwide, international travel is expected for about 20% of your time, sometimes on an ad-hoc basis.
• Your English language and communication skills are excellent due to the nature of our work.
• As an IT & A/V integrator, our teams work very closely together. Most of your stakeholders work from our Van Nelle Fabriek office in Rotterdam, so remote work is not an option for this role.
