Senior Machine Learning Engineer – Zurich

Join a global product company delivering AI-powered solutions to over 1,500 banks in more than 80 countries. We’re seeking a senior, hands-on ML Engineer with a strong software engineering foundation to lead a small team in designing, building, and deploying AI at the core of the product.

You’ll work within a Java + Kubernetes ecosystem, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to deliver new features in a secure, scalable way. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of machine learning, enterprise-grade software engineering, and leadership.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong software engineering skills, with experience in Kubernetes environments
• Proven track record of building and deploying ML models in production
• Familiarity with LLMs and real-world AI applications
• Ability to directly work with the CEO in creating new ideas
• Bonus: knowledge of Banking based AI - fraud detection (anomaly detection), anti-money laundering (AML), and KYC (Name screening)
• Fluent in English, based in Zurich (2 days a week in office)

Offer:

• Salary: 150,000 – 160,000 CHF
