Cloud Services Engineer

Qualifications

• Proven 5 - 6 years of Linux System Engineering, Redhat product portfolioHands-on knowledge in Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift (RHOCP Preferred),
• Hands-on knowledge of Cloud and virtualization technologies - Openstack (RHOSP is preferred), NFV, KVM,
• Strong understanding regarding at least one of Packet Core/EPC, 5G Core areas is required,
• Strong knowledge of IP networks (Layer2/3), security topics, routing, switching, tunneling etc.
• Experience with virtualization, provisioning and configuration management tools and technologies,
• Good understanding of Python/Bash scripting,
• Good understanding of Software Defined Storage (CEPH, Netapp, etc.) principals and components,
• Knowledge of Production deployment, monitoring and operational support such as Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.
• knowledge on troubleshooting and corrective actions on node, service and infrastructure level. Experience on wireshark, taking trace and investigate.
• Good analytical skills and being eager to develop and take on responsibility,
• Aiming for continuous improvement and highly motivated,
• Follow customer SLAs and KPIs to achieve customer satisfaction,
• Strong communication skills both at an individual and team level,
• Experience with Microsoft office tools,
• Ability to prepare comprehensive reports and present ideas clearly and concisely
• No restriction for both national and international occasional travel,

Responsibilities

• Contribute to installation & commissioning, configuration & integration, end to end testing and customer acceptance of cloud solutions experience, or the willingness to build up experience on openstack/openshift platform.
• Analytical skills to analyze requirements and functional specifications, understand High Level Design Documents and contribute Low Level Design documents.
• Ability to prepare project related documentation such as Test Specifications and Plan, Methods of Procedures, Acceptance Test Manuals, etc..
• Fault handling and corrective actions on node and infrastructure level.
• Active participation in knowledge sharing through regular contributions.
• Work in project delivery and acceptance testing as delivery team member to ensure proper deployment of the solution.
