Quality Assurance & Program Specialist (Mobile SDK)

Role:

Our MNC client is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Program Specialist to join their team. In this hybrid role, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our new mobile application SDK through comprehensive end-to-end testing, while also contributing to key program management tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• End-to-End QA for Mobile SDK (80%):

o Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our new mobile SDK across various platforms (iOS and Android).

o Perform thorough functional, integration, performance, and regression testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.

o Collaborate closely with development teams to understand SDK features, technical specifications, and potential integration points.

o Accurately report, track, and manage defects using our chosen bug tracking system, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.

o Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, providing QA insights and feedback.

o Develop and maintain automated test scripts where appropriate to improve testing efficiency.

o Conduct thorough root cause analysis of issues.

o Act as the final gatekeeper for product releases, ensuring all quality standards are met.

• Program Management Support (20%):

o Assist with various program management tasks, including tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables

o Contribute to the creation and maintenance of project documentation, such as status reports and release notes.

o Support communication efforts between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and progress.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Tester with a strong focus on mobile application or mobile SDK testing.

• Solid understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies and best practices.

• Experience with iOS and Android platforms and their respective development environments.

• Familiarity with mobile application development concepts and common SDK integration challenges.

• Proficiency in designing and executing detailed test cases.

• Experience with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).

• Experience with test automation frameworks for mobile (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).

• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail.

• Basic understanding of program management principles

• Payments industry experience is a plus
