Senior Software Maintenance Engineer (3nd Line)

We are seeking a 3rd Line / Software Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

This project aims to detect and remediate vulnerabilities in near real-time, offering IT Security, IT teams, and asset owners immediate alerts along with recommended strategies for remediation.

Responsibilities


  • Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in software systems in near real-time
  • Leverage tools such as Qualys, Docker, and Kubernetes for vulnerability assessment and resolution
  • Ensure cloud security across platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Partner with IT Security, IT teams, and asset owners to provide actionable alerts and remediation strategies
  • Maintain system security by tracking emerging vulnerabilities and threat vectors
  • Adopt industry best practices to enhance the security of applications, infrastructure, and networks


Requirements


  • Based in Ukraine (remote work supported only for residents of Ukraine)
  • Background in security engineering, emphasizing vulnerability management
  • Familiarity with Qualys or comparable vulnerability management tools (is a plus)
  • Understanding of network security concepts and associated technologies
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
  • English language skills at B2 level or higher
  • Capability to work independently in a remote setting


Nice to have


  • Proficiency in utilizing Wireshark for network analysis
  • Understanding of DevOps workflows
  • Knowledge of security monitoring tools and associated best practices
