Role Summary

As the React JS/ Next Js Developer Lead, you will lead the end-to-end development of our web-based stock trading platform using React JS. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver a high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly web application. Your expertise in React JS, web architecture, and fintech will drive the success of our platform in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead a team of Next JS, React JS developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Web App Development: Architect, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable stock trading web application using React JS, Next JS ensuring low-latency performance for real-time market data.
• System Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and third-party services (e.g., stock exchange APIs, payment gateways like Razorpay).
• UI/UX Implementation: Work closely with designers to implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI/UX using Tailwind CSS, ensuring compliance with SEBIs usability and accessibility guidelines.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize web app performance for high-frequency trading, ensuring fast rendering, minimal latency, and efficient state management.
• Security Implementation: Ensure robust security measures, including end-to-end encryption, secure API authentication (OAuth 2.0), and compliance with SEBIs cybersecurity framework.
• Component-Based Development: Build reusable React components and maintain a modular codebase for scalability and maintainability.
• Agile Development: Lead sprint planning, task estimation, and delivery in an Agile environment, using tools like Jira or Trello.
• Innovation: Stay updated with React JS, Next JS advancements and fintech trends, integrating features like real-time charts, push notifications, and secure user authentication.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to implement automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using tools like Jest, React Testing Library) to ensure app reliability.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the web app adheres to SEBI regulations, KYC norms, and data privacy laws (e.g., DPDP Act 2023).

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of web development experience, with at least 3 years in React JS development and 1+ years in a lead or senior developer role.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficient in React JS, Next JS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern web development tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Babel).
• Strong understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API).
• Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and integrating third-party SDKs (e.g., Firebase, TradingView, or payment gateways).
• Familiarity with web app architecture patterns (e.g., Component-Based Architecture, Micro-Frontends).
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and debugging tools (e.g., React Developer Tools, Lighthouse).
• Proficient in Tailwind CSS or similar CSS frameworks for responsive design.
• Fintech Experience: Prior experience building financial or stock trading web applications is highly preferred, with knowledge of real-time data handling and secure transactions.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a development team, manage project timelines, and mentor junior developers.
• Education: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Tools: Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Vercel), and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
