Job Title: Wordpress PHP Developer-Arabic

Job Location: Dubai

Job Role

As a WordPress Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life and ensure optimal functionality and performance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Custom Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client needs.
  • Implement robust coding practices and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Client Collaboration

  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide expert advice on best practices for website design and functionality.

Performance And Optimization

  • Conduct regular performance assessments and optimize website speed, security, and SEO.
  • Utilize tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix for continuous improvement.

Troubleshooting And Maintenance

  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to WordPress functionalities, plugins, and server configurations.
  • Perform regular updates to WordPress core, themes, and plugins to maintain security and performance.

Documentation And Training

  • Maintain detailed documentation of development processes, updates, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Create user manuals and provide training to clients for effective website management.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with emerging trends in WordPress development.
  • Explore and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance development processes.

Experience & Education

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in WordPress development

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Strong understanding of WordPress core, custom themes, and plugin architecture.
  • Experience with MySQL and database design/management.

Tools & Technologies

  • Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS) is advantageous.
  • Experience with web performance and security tools.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party service integration.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Sketch).
