About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer with some back-end experience to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is based in Peterborough and offers a hybrid working model, combining two days of remote work with three days on-site each week. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining healthcare management software solutions that are used by a broad client base. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly applications. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience working with Vue.js, demonstrating a strong understanding of modern front-end development practices. Proficiency in C# and JavaScript is essential, with a track record of developing dynamic and interactive websites using Vue.js. A solid understanding of Dependency Injection, SOLID principles, and their application in software development is required. Experience with MS SQL Server, web services, and API push notifications for backend integration is also necessary. Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies, version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD pipelines will be highly advantageous. Additional desirable skills include experience with VB.NET, YAML, DevExpress, and Microsoft Azure. The candidate should also possess strong communication skills, enabling effective engagement across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of this role include designing, developing, and maintaining responsive front-end applications using Vue.js, ensuring seamless integration with backend services. You will write clean, efficient, and reusable code, contributing to the development of high-quality web applications that meet user needs and project requirements. Collaborating with back-end developers to develop web services and backend objects is essential, as is participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. You will also be involved in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing version control through Git, and working within Agile/SCRUM teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing application performance, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.
