TechM is undertaking a large-scale enterprise architecture transformation across business and application domains. This role is central to leading application rationalization, designing governance frameworks, aligning business capability models, migrating EA tooling from Abacus to Lucid, and developing a centralized EA portal. The Enterprise Architect will drive the execution of a 9-month roadmap aligned to operational efficiency, architecture governance, and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Rationalization
- Lead discovery, analysis, and optimization of the current application landscape.
- Deliver an Application Portfolio Rationalization (APR) report with recommendations.
Business Capability Model & Maturity Assessment
- Map business capabilities to strategic, core, clinical, and non-clinical applications.
- Identify maturity gaps and align ownership/governance models across systems.
Architecture Governance & Review Board Setup
- Establish and lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) cadence.
- Define ARB principles, KPIs, roles, exception handling criteria, and documentation templates.
Abacus to Lucid Migration
- Migrate metadata, architecture artifacts, and visual models from Abacus to Lucidchart/Lucidscale.
- Define tool-to-tool mappings and lead the execution of the migration plan.
EA Portal Design & Integration
- Design and implement an enterprise-wide EA portal using ReactJS.
- Integrate portal with Confluence, ServiceNow, and SharePoint for seamless access to workflows, governance, and architecture assets.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture, including large-scale transformation programs.
- Strong domain experience in Healthcare / Life Sciences (HLS).
- Proven experience in Application Rationalization and Business Capability Mapping.
- Expertise with ServiceNow, Confluence, SharePoint, and Lucid tools.
- Experience migrating EA tools (e.g., Abacus to Lucid)
- Strong understanding of architecture governance, ARB frameworks, and KPI definition.
- Proficiency in architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional, matrixed teams with minimal supervision.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with ReactJS in a portal/frontend design context.
- Familiarity with EA toolchains and integration architectures.
- Previous consulting experience with US/Canadian healthcare clients.
The pay range for this role is CAD 90 - CAD 100 per hour.
