DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our in-house team in Central London. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining development pipelines, driving automation, and continuously improving delivery processes. This is a hands-on position where you’ll work closely with developers and other stakeholders to bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring secure, efficient, and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline & Infrastructure Development

• Design and implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines from source control to production.
• Build, configure, and maintain development tools and scalable infrastructure.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Work alongside developers and technical teams to translate requirements into practical solutions.
• Contribute to strategic planning for medium- to long-term technology initiatives.

Process Improvement & Automation

• Continuously refine development and release processes to boost efficiency.
• Create automation tools and scripts using PowerShell, Python, and YAML.

Quality Assurance & Security

• Conduct testing, code reviews, and performance analysis.
• Integrate robust cybersecurity measures into all systems.

Project Management & Technical Support

• Support project planning and smooth integration of new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Azure Fundamentals Certification (desirable but not essential).

Technical Expertise

• Cloud & DevOps: Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure Pipelines.
• Automation: CI/CD methodologies, PowerShell, Python, YAML.
• Version Control & OS: Git, Windows, Linux.
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code: Bicep.
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack.
